Coffee Amnesia ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the Coffee Amnesia mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide the App's features:

• Name. The name or nickname you choose when setting up your account, used to personalize your experience.
• Email address. Collected when you create an account via email, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In. Used for authentication and account recovery.
• Approximate location. Used to show nearby coffee shops and calculate distances. Your precise GPS coordinates are never stored on our servers.
• Drink entries and notes. Everything you log in the App — drinks, ratings, notes, and shop visits — is stored securely and tied to your account.
• Photos. Photos you choose to attach to drink entries are stored securely in your account.
• Account identifiers. A unique user ID assigned to your account to keep your data organized.
• Purchase information. Whether you have an active premium subscription, managed through Apple's in-app purchase system and RevenueCat.

2. How We Use Your Information

All data we collect is used solely to operate and improve the App:

• Authenticate your account and keep it secure
• Save and display your drink journal entries
• Show nearby coffee shops based on your location
• Track your premium subscription status
• Enable features like stamps, streaks, and shop wishlists

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting. Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat — subscription management. Privacy Policy
• Google Sign-In — optional authentication. Privacy Policy
• Apple Sign-In — optional authentication. Privacy Policy

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security enabled, meaning only you can access your own data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly from the App under Settings → Delete Account
• Export your data by contacting us

Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our servers within 30 days, in compliance with GDPR and applicable privacy laws.

6. Children's Privacy

Coffee Amnesia is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
